Neermahal (নীরমহল, meaning Water palace) is a former royal palace built by King Bir Bikram Kishore Debbarman of the erstwhile Kingdom of Tripura in 1930. It is situated 53 kilometers away from the Agartala, the capital of Tripura. The palace is situated in the middle of Rudrasagar Lake and assimilates Hindu and Muslim architectural styles.
There are only two water palace in India. First one in Rajasthan and second one is in Tripura.It was built as summer resort. The palace, which took nine years to be built,is over 400 feet in length.
