League Premierships: None to date

Since admission into the WAFL, Peel Thunder has had very little success despite the amount of talent coming through its district. This has raised concerns elsewhere in the WAFL over the viability of the team and has had a substantially negative effect on the club's reputation. With the club's new coach for 2006, the team has set out to improve their standing in the WAFL. This led to a much improved season, avoiding the Wooden Spoon and gaining some much needed self confidence. Peel again finished 2007 in 8th, one spot from last.

2008, so far, has been an even bigger improvement. As of 20th June, Peel have won 5 games and sit in 6th spot below West Perth.

The league side is coached by ex-West Coast Eagles premiership player, Chris Waterman (nick-named Muddy), who took over the senior coaching position in 2006 season from ex-Geelong Football Club player, Garry Hocking.

The reserves are coached by Chris Bayliss, who took over in 2007 from Chris Chipman.

Michael Pratt is the new colts coach for 2007, taking over from the 2006 coach Tom Watson, who lead the team during their trying 2007.
