(1991)"We Too Are One" is the eighth
album bypop music duoEurythmics , released in 1989. It would be the duo's last studio release for a decade until 1999's "Peace".When it was released in 1989, the album went straight to number one in the UK, and number thirty-four in the U.S. It spawned four singles, all of which reached the UK top 30: "Revival," "Don't Ask Me Why," "The King and Queen of America," and "Angel." In the United States, "(My My) Baby's Gonna Cry" was also released but failed to chart. With the sole exception of "When the Day Goes Down", which was occasionally performed during Eurythmics' 1999/2000 reunion "Peacetour", Lennox and Stewart (solo or playing as Eurythmics) largely ignored material from the record during post-1989/1990 live shows. In line with this, 2005's "Ultimate Collection" included none of the songs from "We Too Are One".
