Angel City, Florida

Angel City was a city, now a portion of Merritt Island, in Brevard County, Florida, United States. It is the southernmost portion of the Newfound Harbor section of Merritt Island, with Buck Point at its southernmost point. The shortest distance across the point is only 8 feet, shorter than Dragon Point by Mathers Bridge. Buck Point is where Newfound Harbor ends at Banana River. About 9 miles to the north is where Newfound Harbor joins Merritt Island. Then, Merritt Island continues north to extreme southeastern Volusia County, where Kennedy Parkway and U.S. 1 meet. South of Buck Point is 2 isolated islands, called the Brady and George's islands. These islands can be accessible from Lotus and Georgiana.
