"The Silent Man" is the sixth song and the second single from the Dream Theater album "Awake". It's the third movement of a suite called "A Mind Beside Itself", following "Erotomania" and "Voices". Both the music and the lyrics were written by John Petrucci. The instrumental "Eve" was written by Kevin Moore.
