Burnham, also known as Burnham Camp, is the largest army base in New Zealand's South Island. It is located 28 kilometres south of Christchurch on the Canterbury Plains, close to the town of Dunsandel.

Burnham was named for Burnham Beeches, Buckinghamshire.

Burnham Base is home to the 3rd Land Force Group of the NZ Army.

Burnham is also home to the southern HQ of the Cadet Forces. they areATC Air Training Corpes(Air Force), CC Cadet Corpes (Army), and T.S. Training Ships(Navy)
