1997 . Wall of Sound
The Wall of Sound consists of three concert bands (Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble), 2 Jazz Ensembles and a 185-member Marching Band.Fact|date=August 2008 According to Principal Jake Russell, the Wall of sound is the pride and joy of Sickles High School.Fact|date=August 2008 Steadily growing since the school opened in 1997, The Wall of Sound continually strives to present fun and entertaining half-time performances for the Sickles High School football games. In 2008, the Wind Ensemble received an overall 'Excellent' at states, a first state appearance for the Wall of Sound.Fact|date=August 2008 The Sickles Drumline is the most featured attraction at any event. Consisting of an elite group of drummers, the only way to make it on the "line" is to participate in the summer auditions and to appease Watson and Cliff, as they have the final say in these matters.
Orchestra

Football
2006 record- (0-10)(0-3):2007 record- (7-3)(2-1):The Sickles High School football team made it to playoffs for the first time in their 2007 season. The first playoff game was @ Gaither, even though the Gryphons lost, the team posted a 7-3 regular season record, which is the best the school has ever done.
Volleyball
In Fall of 2007, the Sickles Volleyball Team broke the "Countryside Curse" and won the District Championship Game.
Basketball
In 2006 the Boys' Basketball team posted a 24-4 record, won the district 6A-7 Championship, and hosted their first ever FHSAA state regional quarterfinal game against
Lakeland High School .Fact|date=November 2007 In 2007, they repeated this feat as district 6A-7 champs.Fact|date=November 2007 Beating Sarasota High at home they won their first state tournament in 7 years.Fact|date=November 2007 They then played Dr. Phillips High (Orlando) and, after losing, finished with a record of 19-8. 2008 brought another District 6A-7 championnship to Sickles. They, however, lost their first round game to Plant City High School.Cross Country
The team won the Boys' 2006 district and regional titles in class 4A, placing 7th at state level.

Ice Hockey
In 2006, the Hockey Team won the Florida State High School Ice Hockey Championship held at the St. Pete Times Forum (Home of the Tampa Bay Lightning).Fact|date=November 2007 In Combined State Championships Nicholas Frasse a senior at Sickles had nine goals and twelve points leading his team along with Austin Bubley a Gaither Junior and Greg Pyle a Sickles Junior. They played their regular seasons for a few years at the Brandon Ice Rink but moved to a more competitive league at the TBSA rink in Oldsmar in 2007.
In 2007, the Combined Gaither/Sickles Ice Hockey Team won the SAHOF Combined State Hockey Tournament at the St. Pete Times Forum.Fact|date=November 2007
