Penumur is 20 kilometers away from Chittoor and 50 km from Tirupati (Temple city) of Andhra Pradesh.On the way from Chittoor to Penumur there is a temple called Sri Puligunteswara swamy temple in the Puligundu. It is one of the most wonderful stones in Andhra Pradesh.
