David M. Matter

David M. Matter

David M. Matter is a Pittsburgh businessman and civic leader. Matter attended the Georgetown University Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service with roommate Bill Clinton, and from 1977 to 1986 served as the Chief of Staff to late Pittsburgh Mayor Richard S. Caliguiri. Following his days in politics, Matter became active in the private sector, working for several major construction firms before joining magnate Eddie Lewis' Pittsburgh-based Oxford Development, the largest commercial real estate firm in Pennsylvania, where he currently serves as President and Chief Operating Officer.
