Akshay Sethi

Akshay Sethi is an Indian Actor who is seen playing the roles of Yug and Nihaal Singh Rathod in Saat Phere and Dhoom Machaao Dhoom respectively.

Biography

Career

Akshay Sethi debuted as 'Yug' in the popular show Saat Phere on Zee TV.He recently entered as 'Nihaal Singh Rathod' in the Disney Channel India show, Dhoom Machaao Dhoom as one of the three male leads.He has done various numbers of commercials before entering Television field.One of the creative guys of Zee TV saw one of Akshay's ads and offered him the role of Yug in Saat Phere.He did his acting course from Kishore Namit Kapoor’s Acting Academy.These days he also appears in Indian idol contestant Prajakta Shukre's music video "Ithun Dhakka Tithun Dhakka" from the album 'Dhakka'. He had also been in Zee Cinestars ki khoj 2004, but for some reason left it. He has also featured in one of the Hum Paanch episodes.Right now,he plays the role of RONAK, in grihasti a serial aired on star plus at 2:30. Ronak loves sohni, the youngest daughter of the khuraana household. however when sohni tell a police inspector, who has a soft corner for sohni, that she loves ronak, the police inspector searches all criminal records to prove sohni that ronak is a criminal,since he thinks that ronak is trying to come between him and sohni

Personal life

He belongs to an acting background.His Father is a producer who produced films like Jai Santoshi Maa.From his childhood days Akshay wanted to be an actor.But, he waited till the completion of his graduation as he gives first preference to education.He says he is an introvert and a very reserved kind of guy.but,he is very focused and confident when it comes to work.He is not at all superstitious and feels that none can stop success in life if you are determined.
