Air Polonia was the first privately owned low-cost airline in
Poland and flew fromWarsaw and several Polish regional airports. In November 2003 Air Polonia was planning to set-up a new low-cost division calledWizzair likely to be based in Warsaw using Boeing 737-400s of Air Polonia. On5 December 2004 Air Polonia ceased operations due to financial difficulties. In January 2005 it was announced that Air Polonia was planning to resume operations with three Boeing 737-400s, but as of June 2008 it hadn't.Code Data
