Noboru Nakamura Born August 4, 1913 Died May 20, 1981 (aged 67)Occupation Film director Noboru Nakamura (中村登 Nakamura Noboru ) (4 August 1913 – 20 May 1981) was a Japanese film director and screenwriter.[1] His 1963 film Twin Sisters of Kyoto was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.[2] His 1967 film Portrait of Chieko was also nominated for the Best Foreign Language Oscar.[3] His 1967 film Lost Spring was entered into the 17th Berlin International Film Festival.[4]
