Marple Scouts

Marple Scouts, Marple, Greater Manchester, were one of the first Scout Groups to be founded, in 1908. 1st Marple Group is part of Goyt District, which in turn is within Greater Manchester East county. Marple is one of the larger groups within the County, with 2 Beaver Colonies, 4 Cub Packs, 2 Scout Troops, an Explorer Unit [http://www.marple-explorers.org.uk] and a Network Unit.

The show has been running continuously for over 40 years, and is nationally recognised via the Red Knecker scheme.
