KUVO is a 24-hour jazz public radio station in Denver, Colorado, owned and operated by Denver Educational Broadcasting. It broadcasts on 89.3 FM (and HD-Radio) in Denver, 89.7 FM in Breckenridge, Colorado, and (as of March 8, 2008) 107.1 FM in Laramie, Wyoming. Before then, the station was carried on 104.9 FM in Laramie. It is also webcast on the internet at [http://www.kuvo.org www.kuvo.org] .

KUVO began operations on August 29, 1985. Its local programming consists primarily of jazz, blues, and latin jazz music, but it also includes programs devoted to acid jazz, funk, gospel, r&b, salsa and other musical genres. In addition, the station carries selected NPR and other syndicated programs such as: Marian McPartland's "Piano Jazz"; "Riverwalk Jazz", hosted by Jim Cullum; "Jazz from Lincoln Center", hosted by Wynton Marsalis; and Dee Dee Bridgewater's "Jazz Set". The station also boasts its own performance studio and will on occasion broadcast live performances and interviews by local and national jazz recording artists. The station commonly refers to itself on-air as "The Oasis in the City".
