Dstar, aka dj Dstar, is a drum & bass producer based out of Philadelphia who started crew & label Gasm Recordings along side partners Mason, Trust, m.c. Armanni Reign and m.c. Sharpness (Mental Sharp). Also known for his stellar percussion and dj'ing skills, Dstar has also made notable production and colabs in the realm of hip hop, trip hop, electro, dance, and jazz. With well over 30 releases under his belt, Dstar has had some major releases solo, and colaboratively with Mason or under the moniker 'Swarm', on labels such as Metalheadz, Intasound, Eastside, Freak, Ohm Resistance, Jungle Sky, Cymbalism, Human, Barcode, Citrus, Bad Habit, Amess, Taciturn, homgrown Gasm, and more!
