Princes Half Tide Dock on the
River Mersey is a half tide dock and part of thePort of Liverpool . It is situated in the northern dock system, connected toEast Waterloo Dock andWest Waterloo Dock to the north andPrinces Dock to the south. The dock opened in 1810. Originally, a lock entrance from the Mersey was present, but has since been closed off.In 2007, work began on a £20 million extension of the
