John B. Walton (born October 4, 1947 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina) was a former professional American football quarterback, who played four seasons in the National Football League for the Philadelphia Eagles. He later played with the Boston Breakers of the United States Football League, and earlier he played for the San Antonio Wings of the World Football League.

Following his retirement, he returned to Elizabeth City, where he serves as a teacher and a member of the city council.
