Estero High School is a public high school located in Estero, Florida. It is part of the Lee County School District and opened in 1987. The total enrollment is about 1,130 students. Its mascot is the Wildcat.

The school also offers a preschool program, incorporating it into course plans with a child development class.

Rivals

*South Fort Myers High School opened in 2005, and has quickly developed a rivalry with Estero. The two schools draw from the same pool of students, and many Estero athletes transferred to the new school when it opened.
*Fort Myers Senior High School is an International Baccalaureate high school in Lee County, Florida and for several years was one of the only schools in Southern Lee County. The Estero and Fort Myers football teams often clashed in the postseason in the late 1990s and early 2000s but Fort Myers Senior High School came up on top.

Reputation

*Estero High School has been known by graduated families for its well managed and excelent academics. Study has shown that the population of the school is mostly overacheivers and students trapped within the school zone. On average most Estero High School graduates completed college at FGCU or Edison College.
*Estero High School contains well structured Advanced Placement classes and an equally well Collegiate High School course.
*When compared to rival schools South Fort Myers High School and Fort Myers Senior High School, Estero High School was placed as the second best Academic School or the three (FMHS first then EHS Second). Estero High School is also known for its pep rally's, school spirit. Estero High School has the lowest school violence, drug problems in Lee county.

*Matt Prater -- American football player, played college football for the University of Central Florida, currently plays for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League
*Bona Jones -- Currently attends the North Carolina State University, 2006 All-American in cross country. Also placed 2nd in USA Cross Country Championship, part of Junior Team USA.
