The Muppet Show " took place. Notable appearances include a duet with monsterSweetums and nearly being cooked by theSwedish Chef . He also sang a song in the first season, "Halfway Down the Stairs ", a poem byA.A. Milne set to music. A recording of this song reached the Top Ten in the UK. In a second season episode, when expected to sing a song entitled "I'm Five", Robin threatens to call his lawyer. Kermit counters by threatening to call Robin's father. Robin immediately sits down to learn the song.Robin made several appearances in the animated "
Muppet Babies " series. He first arrived as a tadpole to meet his Uncle Kermit during the first season. Occasionally the two would visit each other, usually with Robin escaping his bowl. Robin was voiced byRussi Taylor who also voicedBaby Gonzo .In "
The Muppet Movie ", Robin accompanies uncle Kermit to the theatre to watch the premiere of the movie. When Robin asks, "Is this really the story of how the Muppets got started?"
