Tyszkiewicz Palace ( _pl. Pałac Tyszkiewiczów) or Tyszkiewicz - Potocki Palace is a palace at 32 "Krakowskie Przedmieście" Street in Warsaw, Poland. One of the most beautiful neoclassical residences in Warsaw.
History
The palace was sponsored by Field Hetman of Lithuania, Ludwik Tyszkiewicz. The construction begun in 1785 initially following plans by Stanisław Zawadzki and finished in 1792 in Neoclassical style to Jan Chrystian Kamsetzer's design.[pl icon cite web |author = |url = http://warszawa.naszemiasto.pl/kontakty_adresy/57673_95.html |title = Pałac Tyszkiewiczów |work = naszemiasto.pl |publisher = |pages = |page = |date = |accessdate = 2008-02-18] In 1840 the palace was bought by the Potocki family.
