Reformists for Europe

Reformists for Europe

The Reformists for Europe ("Riformisti per l'Europa") were a small social-democratic group in Italy.

They were formed in 1997 by splinters of Democratic Union. Most of them came from the Italian Socialist Party and their leader was Giorgio Benevnuto.

In 1998 the Reformists for Europe merged with the Democratic Party of the Left and other groups to form the Democrats of the Left.

After that the group developed in a faction within DS and changed name into Reformist Europe ("Europa Riformista").
