Tschirnhausen cubic

The Tschirnhausen cubic, named after the mathematician Ehrenfried Walther von Tschirnhaus, is a plane curve which is defined by either of these formulae:

:y^2=x^3+3x^2

:a = r cos^3 ( heta/3).
