footnotes=The "LA Podcasters" is an inclusive podcasting group based out of Los Angeles which meets monthly at the Brewery to synthesize the generation of podcasts out of the greater Los Angeles Community. Meetings are organized around sharing podcasting tips, encouraging the local independent podcasting scene and producing podcasting events.
History
In March 2005 Lance Anderson ("Verge of the Fringe" and "The Lance Anderson Podcast Experiment"), Dan Klass ("The Bitterest Pill"), Tim Coyne ("The
Hollywood podcast "), Grant Baciocco ("The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd") and others began to meet at the Farmer's Market in order to establish a Podcasting Organization in the Greater Los Angeles community to foster the growth and development of the podcasting community. Shortly thereafter the LA Podcaster hosted a number of events to raise awareness of the general public to the thriving local podcast community. cite web | title=Beginnings of LA Podcasters | work=Podcast User Magazine (10/2006 - All) | url=http://www.podcastusermagazine.com/files/podusermag-issue9.pdf | accessdate=2007-04-04]Events
