Japan's opium policy in Korea

Japan's opium policy in Korea

According to the advertisement of Korea, During World War II Japan had established some opium fields in northern KoreaFact|date=February 2007 for Japan's opium operations in China. Allegedly, this was conducted with full approval from Tokyo under directives of a Japanese umbrella organization, The "China Affairs Board". The Board was responsible for the affairs of occupied China. The organization was believed to be run by Fumimaro Konoe and the ministers of war, finance, navy and foreign affairs. Japan's opium trade was believed to be for the purpose of weakening the Chinese and for much needed revenues to help with Japan's military aggressions.
