Long Island Rail Road stations that serves the Village of Garden City. It is on theHempstead Branch and is located at 7th Street between Hilton and Cathedral Avenues, directly across the street from theGarden City Hotel . It is one of the few Long Island Railroad stations with two station houses. Garden City Station was originally built in 1872, then rebuilt in 1898.
