Doug, while shooting staples into a coffee can, accidentally ends up with a staple wounded to his testicles. Even worse, he is to meet Carrie at the bank to apply for a small mortgage for Carrie's office. After waiting in the ER for his injuries and having to get to the bank soon, Doug cannot have his staple removed just yet. And after a painfully long meeting at the bank with Carrie, Doug finally comes clean and admits what happened to Carrie. He insists that they should wait until the end of the meeting to get it taken care of.
