Northern Counties East Football League Presidents Cup

Northern Counties East Football League Presidents Cup

The Northern Counties East Football League Presidents Cup is contested between clubs in the NCEL Premier Division and NCEL Division One. Its inaugural season was in 1990/91, where North Ferriby United walked away as winners. Incidentally, they are the most time winners, having won the competition three times in total. The current format is that 16 teams compete, these being the top eight teams from the previous season's Premier division who remain (having not been promoted to the Northern Premier League), and the top eight teams from the previous season's Division One.
