In the past there was a
bungalow of a Gakhar chief. The house was called Kotli and afterwards the town became known as Kotli, too. It is located about 65 km from Rawalpindi.There is a village "Korina KalaN" which is famous for fruits and terrible traditions. It is located in east of Kotli Sattian about 7 km away from tehsil headquarter.Location
