Larry's Giant Subs is a fast-food submarine sandwich chain headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. Its first store opened in Jacksonville, Florida in 1982. Now, Larry's Giant Subs has over 100 operating restaurants nationwide.

History

Larry and Mitch Raikes (the Raikes brothers) built the first Larry's Giant Subs in Jacksonville, Florida in 1982. After seeing the response the first store received, the two brothers were inspired to branch out and take their concept nationwide. Now, the Larry's Giant Subs menu features submarine, deli, and New York style sandwiches. The restaurant also serves Soup Man soups. The Soup Man is world-famous for his soups. Mostly thanks to the Seinfeld episode, "The Soup Nazi", he was played by Larry Thomas. Larry's Giant Subs currently has over 100 franchised out stores nationwide, with hundreds more under construction.

We pride ourselves on the quality brands we serve our customers. Our award winning bread comes straight from the Costanzo’s Bakery right in the heart of Buffalo, New York. We now feature real New York cheesecake direct from Carnegie’s Deli in Manhattan. We use only Chicken of the Sea Albacore Tuna and Hellman’s Real Mayonnaise in our Tuna Salad, and our Chicken Salad is made by Sally Sherman’s using only the freshest white meat available.
