Éric Dorion (born June 24, 1970 in Drummondville, Quebec) is a politician from Quebec, Canada, and the Action démocratique du Québec Member of the National Assembly for the electoral district of Nicolet-Yamaska.

By 1994, he was addicted to drugs and had a criminal file for car theft. He followed a short program in drug-addition and psychology at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. In 1996, he founded the Sainte-Angèle-de-Laval-based addiction intervention centre "De l'autre côté de l'ombre" and made several conferences and programs related to therapy and drug-addiction. Dorion was first elected in the 2007 election with 41% of the vote. Parti Québécois (PQ) candidate Donald Martel, finished second with 28% of the vote. Dorion took office on April 12, 2007.
