Character's background

Dr. Ian Thornhart arrived in Port Charles about May 2000, after working with Doctors without Limits. Doctors Without Limits was an organization that provided medical care in Third World Countries. Ian was very critical of everything he saw going on around him at GH because it looked to him like everyone was just too self-centered and interested in their careers to be really be providing good patient care. One of the first doctors that he clashed with Dr. Eve Lambert-Collins, who had just married Dr. Kevin Collins. He is also the twin brother of Patrick Thornhart of One Life to Live
