Subang Airport-Kewajipan Highway, Federal route JKR|15 is a major highway in the Klang Valley region, Selangor, Malaysia. It comprises the Subang Airport Highway (Sungai Buloh-Subang Jaya) and Persiaran Kewajipan (Subang Jaya-USJ).

Overview

Subang Airport Highway is the highway leading to the old Subang Airport (which was the international airport for Kuala Lumpur before the international airport moved to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)) from Federal Highway.

Persiaran Kewajipan

Persiaran Kewajipan is the highway in Subang Jaya and the UEP Subang Jaya area.

Current developments

Upgrading of the Subang Airport Interchange and the construction of the Subang-Kelana Jaya Link

The upgraded of the Subang Airport Interchange including a main link of Subang-Kelana Jaya Link from Subang Airport Highway (route JKR|15) of Federal Highway (route JKR|2) to Persiaran Kewajipan near Menara Mesiniaga and to Bulatan Kewajipan near New Pantai Expressway MES-E|10 had began on the end of 2005. Both project is led by Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR). While the main contractor is the Ahmad Zaki Resources Berhad (AZRB). This megaproject are expected to be completed on September 2009.

Construction of the Subang Bypass from Terminal 3 to Subang Utara junctions

Features

The highway is lined by palm oil trees and rubber trees until 1999. But today it was developed as the new township area like Ara Damansara.
