Mighty Wings

"Mighty Wings" is a rock song written by Harold Faltermeyer and Mark Spiro and performed by American group Cheap Trick in 1985 for the film Top Gun.

In the film Top Gun, the music (without the lyrics) played in the first training session at Miramar, while the full version with the lyrics played as the credits rolled over the sunset at the end of the film.

It was released as a single in 1985^[1] and is available on both the original Top Gun soundtrack album and the expanded edition.
