Linh Dan Pham is a French actress of Vietnamese descent. She was born in Saigon, South Vietnam in 1973 but moved with her family to France a year later, though she has lived in New York, Singapore and Vietnam and now resides in London.Fact|date=February 2008

She has taken an acting course at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York.Fact|date=February 2008

She is known most for her 1992 role as a Vietnamese princess in the Oscar-winning French epic "Indochine", starring alongside Catherine Deneuve. Pham received a César (French equivalent of the Oscars) nomination for most promising actress for her role.

Despite appearing in a few other productions afterwards, Pham eventually decided to take a decade off from acting, focusing instead on her studies. She studied commerce in University and worked as a senior marketing manager after graduation.

In 2005, Pham made a big comeback with her role in the French film "The Beat That My Heart Skipped", for which she was nominated yet again for the most promising actress award (and won). Her lines are spoken in Vietnamese, despite playing a Chinese person.

In that same year Pham appeared on a popular Vietnamese diaspora show (Trung Tam Asia) where she was honored for her work.
