Plastic Parachute is an American Pop band on the MRV/ Caroline Records/ EMI label. Based in Los Angeles, CA, Members are: Birdee, Ricky Brewer, MichaelAngelo Brewer, Clint Johnston & Brian Lewis. A powerhouse of Musicianship & Dynamic Energy, Plastic Parachute has been likened to the vintage Hollywood stylings of Greta Garbo meshed with the stage antics & unrelenting energy of The Stones. Parachute tunes have been heard on MTV & CBS programming as well as Jeep/Chrysler commercials & Warren Miller/ Time Warner Extreme Ski Films. Winning Los Angeles Rock City News "BEST FEMALE FRONTED BAND", Plastic Parachute plays over 250 shows a year nationally & at LA rock clubs such as The Viper Room, The Knitting Factory, The Keyclub, The Cat Club, The Dragonfly & House Of Blues. Plastic Parachute is currently working with the legendary Mike Shipley (AC/DC, Def Leppard, The Sex Pistols,Green Day, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, Blondie, Anberlin & more...) Shipley is remixing the'Chutes new record, Elephants & Giraffes (produced by Dave Darling). The record has a yet to be disclosed 2008 Release date.
