Hey Negrita (band)

Hey Negrita is a Rolling Stones song from their 1976 record Black and Blue. Negrita in Spanish means "little black girl" and is a common term of affection. It is also the name of a country blues band formed in London, England in 2002 that currently includes

*Felix Bechtolsheimer - Lead vocals, rhythm guitar
*Matthew Ord - Guitars, Vocals
*Will Greener - Harmonica, Vocals
*Paul Sandy - Double Bass
*Neil Findlay - Drums, percussion

On sabbatical - *Hugo Heimann - Piano, vocals, bass (also guitar, banjo & slide on recordings)

The band were also the subject of a Channel 4 Music documentary broadcast in August 2006. They have recently been on two tours to the United States, and filled the support slot on a recent UK acoustic tour with Alabama Three. They are currently recording their third album.
