"Go DJ" is the second single off of Lil Wayne's fourth studio album, "Tha Carter". The beat is produced by Mannie Fresh. Mannie Fresh starts off the intro to the song, and delivers background vocals during the hook and Birdman makes a cameo at the end of the first verse, and the beginning of the third verse. This single peaked at #14 on the U.S. "Billboard" Hot 100.

Music video

The video is set in a prison (the Mansfield Reformatory), the same prison where they shot "Shawshank Redemption," where Lil Wayne is freed from an electric chair. After this, he starts rapping the song.
