Robosoft Technologies is an Indian information technology company which provides software product development services. Robosoft was founded in 1996 by Rohith Bhat, who established the company to develop software products for the Mac market. Today, Robosoft is involved in providing Software Product Development services for Mac OS as well as Windows platform.

The companies Corporate Office is located in Santhekatte near Udupi on National Highway 17, in a sprawling convert|5|acre|m2|sing=on campus.Robosoft has brought Udupi a significant place in the global IT scenario and has won many awards and recognitions.

Robosoft has opened many project labs in various engineering colleges in Karnataka to bridge the gap between the industry and the academia. Colleges where Robosoft have opened their project labs include NMAMIT - Nitte, K.V.G.College of Engineering - Sullia, and St.Aloysius Institute of Computer Science - Mangalore. This has helped the students to have hands on experience of the various tools and technologies.

History

Robosoft was founded in 1996 by Mr. Rohith Bhat in Mumbai. Initially, Robosoft began as a 'Mac OS only' development company but later started working on products for the Windows and other Web platforms.

Robosoft specializes in C, C++ and Java product development for the Macintosh, iPhone and the Windows platform. Device Driver development, Game Porting, Game Testing, Quality Assurance and Testing services and Web applications development are few of its focus areas.

In the gaming arena, Robosoft has created a niche for themselves as the leading developer for porting some of the well known windows titles like Tomb Raider Anniversary, The Movies, Imperial Glory to the Mac platform. Tomb Raider Anniversary has been well received by the Mac gaming community and the reviews of this game speaks about the work done by Robosoft.

With the release of the SDK for iPhone by Apple Inc., Robosoft has announced the expansion of its Mac development services for the iPhone. They would be involved in developing native applications and Casual Games for the iPhone.
