History

KTRO has aired numerous formats previous to its current talk programming format.

From 1959 till September 1976, this was "91 KISN," playing top 40 music. In the 2000s, it was a sports radio station as KFXX (which is now on 1080AM), then switched to hot talk and oldies formats.

On February 15, 2007 KKSN 910 AM changed their call letters to KTRO. On March 28, 2007 KTRO-FM changed their format to regional Mexican and the existing talk format continues on KTRO 910 AM.
