Harvie Picken (b. Dec 1920, Melbourne, Australia) was a prominent Australian Businessman and member of the Picken family.

Biography

Picken lived in Toorak, Victoria, Australia.

Picken was born in Ayrshire, Scotland; he later emigrated to Australia and settled in Melbourne. He was the chairman and founder of the privately-owned J.T. Picken’s Ltd Printers which became part of one of Australia's largest Packaging companies. In 1982, Australian Paper Mills (APM) took over the larger Containers Ltd to form Amcor Limited, which is today one of the world's top three global packaging companies, based on market capitalization, sales, and profits.

Family life

Harvie had two children, James (Douglas and Donalda Picken. Douglas Picken had two son's Ken and Ian.
