BOH, or 3,4-methylenedioxy-beta-methoxyphenethylamine, is a lesser-known psychedelic drug. It is the beta-methoxy analog of MDPEA. BOH was first synthesized by Alexander Shulgin. In his book "PiHKAL (Phenethylamines i Have Known And Loved)", the dosage range is listed as 80-120 mgs, and the duration listed as 6-8 hours. BOH dilates the pupils, and produces anorexia and cold feet. Shulgin gives it a ++ on the Shulgin Rating Scale. [CitePiHKAL] Very little data exists about the pharmacological properties, metabolism, and toxicity of BOH.
