Van Wert County is a county located in the U.S. state of Ohio with a population of 29,659 as of the 2000 U.S. census. It is included within the Van Wert Micropolitan Statistical Area, which is included within the Lima-Van Wert-Wapakoneta Metropolitan Statistical Area.
