Fernando Peres

Fernando Peres da Silva (born Algés, 8 January 1942) was a Portuguese footballer. He played as offensive midfielder for Belenenses, Sporting Lisbon and Académica.

He had 27 caps for Portugal National Team, scoring 4 goals, from his first game, a 1-1 draw with England, in 4 June 1964, in a friendly match, to his last game, the 0-1 defeat with Brazil, at the Independence Brazil Cup final, in 9 June 1972.

He was included in the squad that was present at the World Cup 1966 finals, but he never played.
