David Irenus "Red" Barron (June 21, 1900 – October 4, 1982) was a three-sport letterwinner at Georgia Tech.[1] He was named All American twice, All-Southern Conference three times, and was an inductee to Tech's Hall of Fame and the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame.[2][3] He played baseball professionally with the Boston Braves in 1929.[1] He later became a high school football coach for Dacula High School.[3]
