Pebblebrook High School is home to the Cobb County Center for Excellence in Performing Arts, the county's only performing arts magnet program. Like all other magnet schools in Cobb County they accept any student that currently lives in Cobb County. To get in to the performing program the student must audition to be accepted into the school's program. The program specializes in Drama, Vocal, Dance, and Technical Theater. Once they are accepted then the student may choose his or her minor. When the student audition it is always for their major. The minor is picked from the decision of the student. It is housed in the newly-constructed Betty A. Gray Enrichment Center (best know as the Betty Gray Building or The New Building by the students) and the Earl Reece Jr. Theater. Which is used for both P.A. (Performing Arts) and District students. There are 4 other buildings but have nothing to do with the Performing Arts program. All though this is on the Pebblebrook High School campus. It is not in controlled by the school. The County owns that part on the schools campus.
Campus
Pebblebrook has had two campuses in its history. The first at the original Lindley Middle School building on Pebblebrook Circle, the second at its current location(991 Old Alabama Road). The school has two gyms: the John Morgan III building(commonly called "The Dungeon" by students), and the Kay Jackson Gym building. Pebblebrook's undersized cafeteria and media center were recently rebuilt, creating a large amphitheater and new courtyard between the new Fine Arts facility and the cafeteria/media center extension. There are seven(or more) buildings on the campus, although the main building has been added onto multiple times, making the actual building count about five.
