Mahīdhara (the name means "earth-bearing", a mythological mountain in the Mahabharata, and also an epithet of Vishnu) was a 16th century commentator of the Vedas, author of the Mantramahodadhi (mantra-uda-dhí "great ocean of mantras", ca. 1588) and Vedadipa (veda-dīpa "light of the Vedas", on the Vajasaneyi-samhita of the White Yajurveda)
