Western Sierra Law School is a private, independent and non-sectarian postsecondary degree granting institution located in the city of San Diego, California. The school has full institutional approval by the State of California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education. The school is also registered with the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California. Students at this institution must take the and pass "Baby Bar" after the first year of law study. WSLS is an opportunity for those who are independent learners. Although WSLS lacks ABA approval, graduates of WSLS enter their professional practice with substantially less student debt; as the cost to attend WSLS is a fraction of that at other San Diego Law Schools.

WSLS is an excellent option for those who wish to enter technical practices, such as Patent Law and Taxation. This is because the demand for technical representation is very high and such practices reside in Federal Courts, giving the WSLS graduate the opportunity to practice anywhere in the country's Federal Jurisdictions. Additionally, students with technical degrees tend to possess the ability to study independently.

Bar pass rates are available at www.calbar.org. WSLS Students understand that success on the Bar Exam is an individual merit. Those students who are serious about taking and passing the Bar exam will need to put in the time and effort required to know the material.
