Gino Sinimberghi (
August 26 ,1913 -December 29 ,1996 ) was atenor opera singer fromRome ,Italy .Gino studied voice techniques at the
Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia . At the age of 23, he won theVienna International Vocal Competition of 1935. For the next six years, Gino became a member of theBerlin State Opera and signed a four year contract withDeutsche Grammophon singing inLeipzig ,Danzig ,Hamburg ,Vienna andParis . In 1944 Gino returned to Italy to continue performing at theLa Fenice opera house inVenice .During his long career, Gino has interpreted various works into Italian and German languages singing along
Beniamino Gigli ,Tito Gobbi andMaria Callas under great conductors such asPaul Hindemith andHerbert von Karajan .As a light lyric tenor, Gino recorded arias and duets from
