Martial Arts
He practises martial arts since 1974 under the influence of the late
Bruce Lee . The first martial art he studied was Ving Tsun Kung Fu. He was certified as a qualified Ving Tsun Kung Fu Instructor by the lateWong Shun Leung . He subsequently became the Founding Director ofIp Man Tong Development Council [ Ip Man Tong Development Council web site http://www.vingtsun.com.hk ] ; the Chairman of The First WorldVing Tsun Conference 1999 [ Booklet of The First World Ving Tsun Conference 1999 ] ; the Chairman (2004-2006) ofVing Tsun Athletic Association, Hong Kong [ Ving Tsun Athletic Association web site http://www.vingtsun.org.hk ] and the Chairman of Hong Kong Wing Chun Federation.In 1997 after the passing away of the lateWong Shun Leung , he met his second Sifu,Ted Wong and started the training inJeet Kune Do .In the same year he joined the Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Nucleus as a first overseas member from Hong Kong. With the approval from the Nucleus, he set up the first overseas branch known as Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Hong Kong Chapter and acted as its Founding President.
