The Institute of Management Consultants USA (IMC USA) is a professional association and the sole certifying body for individual management consultants in the United States. It awards the designation Certified Management Consultant (CMC), recognized by and accorded reciprocity in 44 countries and accredited by the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI).

Founded in 1968, IMC USA provides certification, professional development and business development support to members in its 26 chapters in major U.S. cities. It holds two national conferences per year, conducts surveys of business and consulting, publishes a set of professional standards, has a Code of Ethics and enforcement procedures, and has a Management Consulting Common Body of Knowledge and a Consulting Competency Framework, both of which support its certification process.
